For details of all the Awards and Badges available to the Explorer Scout Section, please click on the relevant links above.

The Membership Award, is the first which an Explorer Scout works towards, when that is completed they are then invested as an Explorer Scout.

Explorer Scouts have 14 activity badges which they can achieve, and 4 staged activity badges - those who have been a Beaver, Cub or Scout may already have achieved some of these staged badges and can be working towards their next level.

Explorer Scouts can also work towards their Chief Scouts Platinum and Diamond Awards, and the ultimate achievement in Scouting, the Queens Scout Award.  Working alongside these are the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.

The Explorer Belt is aimed at Explorer Scouts from 16 to 18 years old, and takes the form of an expedition abroad with projects to complete.  It is a fantastic way of finding out about a country and how the people live, and getting involved in community projects within that country.
