Beaver Scouts are young people aged between 6 and 8 years old.  Young people can join Beaver Scouts in the 3 months leading up to their 6th birthday and can move onto Cub Scouts between 8 and 8 years 6 months.

They wear a turquoise jumper and are full members of the Scout Association.  They make a promise and have their own motto and usually meet in a Colony once a week.

Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others.
